Scott started his acting career in Coronation Street playing series regular Sam
Kingston who famously stripped in the Rovers Return. During his time on the
street Scott was nominated for a national TV award as most popular newcomer and
was delighted and flattered to win the less prestigious but certainly more
humorous 'rear of the year' title with Charlotte Church!
Over the
years Scott has gained several notable acting credits on TV with Granada TV's
Crossroads and BBC's Doctors to name but a few. Added to this he played the
title role in Merlin film internationals Tristan. Scott is also an accomplished
singer who has appeared as George Michael on Celebrity Stars in their Eyes.
Scott has recently been seen in ITV's Emmerdale and Channel 4's
Shameless.
Outside acting Scott made several television appearances
on shows such as GMTV, This Morning, Loose Women, the Sharon Osbourne show and
Richard and Judy. He has also taken part in reality shows including Channel
Fives Trust Me I'm A Holiday Rep where he spent two weeks in Cyprus for Granada
Television pretending to be a holiday rep.
After completing a
documentary (12 weeks) which is based around Scott becoming a bodybuilder in
only 3 months he has recently branched out into fitness and bought his own gym
(www.heavenlybodiesfitnessclub.com). Scott has been passionate about health and
fitness since an early age and his profile in the fitness industry has been
raised this year by training Kerry Katona. As a member of the Register of
Exercise Professionals he is also an expert in diet and nutrition. Recently he
has been seen on our screens being an adviser and trainer on ITV's Feel Good
Factor and Kerry's MTV show. This year he has also devised a workout for a
national advertising campaign for TurtleWax.
On the Presenting front he
hosts his own weekly radio show on Central Radio (www.centralradio.fm) and was a
host with ITV Play for presenting live television on shows such as 'the Rovers
Return Quiz night' and 'This morning puzzle book. Scott is also a regular on the
live circuit performing with his band and hosting numerous high profile charity
events around the country.
